Trustee Vacancies

Following the retirement of two members of our Committee, we are looking for new trustees and would welcome applications from individuals with demonstrable experience within commercial business, fundraising or media sectors, who feel their skills and experience will enable them to make a valuable contribution to the charitable work of the Society.

The positions are voluntary and unpaid, but they provide an opportunity for close involvement with a creative organisation fostering the best young musicians by providing a performance platform, an audience and marketing exposure.

The Committee has overall accountability for the management of the Society. Trustees provide strategic direction, guidance and assistance to the Chairman, Director of Concerts, Treasurer and Administrator. The Committee meets 3 times a year in Manchester, and Committee members are entitled to complimentary tickets to concerts and other Society events.

Please email CVs and other supporting information to manchestermid-days@live.co.uk or contact Clare Preston-Pollitt, Administrator on 07976 812 301 for an informal discussion about the Society, the Committee and application process.
