Trustee Vacancies

Voluntary and unremunerated position
Time commitment circa 1 day per month

An exciting opportunity has arisen for individuals with a passion for culture and the arts to join The Manchester Mid-Day Concerts Society Board of Trustees.

Our aim is to encourage the very best in musical performance by offering important development opportunities to musicians in the early years of their careers. The Society is seeking to appoint two new trustees to lead them into their next phase of development.

The Trustee role includes contributing to the development of overall strategy and direction through effective participation at Board meetings, and acting as ambassadors promoting the charity’s work. The  Committee meets 3 times a year in Manchester.

This is an opportunity for close involvement with a creative organisation fostering the best young musicians by providing a performance platform, an audience and marketing exposure. You don’t have to come from the arts sector, although some experience of how it works and of the operation of small organisations will be useful.

We would welcome applications from individuals who feel their skills and experience will enable them to make a valuable contribution, and with demonstrable expertise and experience in:
● Communications and PR
● Digital Media
● Arts education – establishing in-school activity and partnerships

The Manchester Mid-day Concerts Society welcomes applications from candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds including the arts, education, entertainment, and business.
