Dancing and the Divine from Montserrat Monastery, Spain, to Oaxaca Cathedral, Mexico

The versatile, intriguing and multi-talented vocal/instrumental collective K’antu Ensemble played and sang for us at audition in December. The panel and audience were immediately struck by their strong communication and the uniqueness of their sound-world. From acapella to instrumental pieces in many combinations, the ensemble has a vast colour range to draw from as well as repertoire ranging from across the world and the centuries.

Their performance combines Hispanic culture from both sides of the world, featuring sacred and dance music in a fascinating mix. This will be the ultimate fusion experience.
