Programme is to include truly old numbers from the Golden Age of Tango, such as La Cumparsita; music by the famous Astor Piazzolla including Oblivion; and a selection of funky contemporary pieces written specially for Tango Volcano
For our Christmas special this season we are delighted to present Tango Volcano, a tango quintet which has wowed audiences throughout the country, most recently with the show ‘Tango Tango’ which celebrated the life of Astor Piazzolla. This vibrant and virtuosic tango quintet will be joined by Argentine Tango dancers Richard Manuel and his partner Pauline Reibell. Richard has taught and performed throughout Europe and Argentina and studied in Buenos Aries, the birth place of Tango.
